Shawnee, OK
Im just looking for any information on the Shawnee area. We are trying to decide if we would like to move our family there. I would appreciate any information on which schools to avoid or which parts of town to avoid. Of course, any other info would be welcomed too!

Just want to be close enought to Midwest City (where my parents live), but not in the city. We prefer a much smaller town, but dont want to live a very far drive from parents and our church that is in Del City. I just dont know anything about the area. Ive been there a few times and think it is cute, but dont have any inside scoop. Im fearful that we would buy a house only to find out that it is the "bad part of town".

hope you find info, Like you I want to move back to oklahoma, although back is strange way of putting it since the only time i spent actually living there was back in the 1980's when i spent a few weeks on my uncles farm every summer. but both my parents are from there and I have tons of relatives in the chickasha area that I would like to get to know again.
