Default Planning on moving to Weatherford OK

Hello

I am looking into moving around the Weatherford OK area.

I'd prefer to go the route of a studio 6 or something where it's a flat fee per month basis, until I get on my feet down there.

I don't really care about how "ghetto" it is after staying in some pretty cheap hotels in Fresno, California so long as it's not bug infested (Yuck!)

I would move to a larger city as well, with perhaps more job opportunities so long as it'll still be close to Weatherford (being unfamiliar with OKC)

Your post is really kind of funny to me. Do yourself a favor and search the demographics of western and south western ok a bit. "ghetto" that's funny. And " bigger city if it's still close to weatherford". There really is not many large cities close. Okc is about 60 miles and Lawton about the same. Might try Hydro or Bessie, they both have a thriving work force.

Fortunately, Weatherford has been growing, rather than going downhill. Surely, any Oklahoma town, unless it's just too small, has at least one decent Mexican restaurant.

Weatherford doesn't have a ghetto other than a lot of semicrummy student apartments around the university. Although Weatherford isn't much in the way of scenery it is considered the best town in western Oklahoma by many people.

There are a couple of Mexican joints in town and a few others in Clinton which is about 20 minutes away. Clinton is about half hispanic anymore so you can get some pretty authentic stuff there at a couple of the taco shops.

Haha, the university apartments are said to be "alcohol, and drug" infested, any truth to this? (keeping in mind, my friend whom mentioned this has never tried drugs)
