Chorizo is a Mexican sausage and hotter than a 3 dollar pistol! And every variety I've tried over the years was way too salty, too, and considering that we ate a lot of kim chee, soy sauce, and sauerkraut, that's saying a lot. I have absolutely no idea who made it from salmon or why [I suppose I could go look at the package, but I'm feeling too lazy], it's kind of like using prime rib to make hamburger. And I don't mean steak tartare, I mean the fried ones.

I would do a crepe with it. use the chorizo, top it with sour cream, sprinkle just a bit of dill over it, roll it into a blintz..........bet it would be great.

Default Best Maid Baby Dills

Do they sell these in Oklahoma? They are made in Fort Worth so they are all over the local markets around here.

IMHO, they are by far THE BEST dill pickles I've ever had. If you get a chance to pick some up, do it I think you'll like them.. They're bottled with several spices in the jar so that gives them just a slight spicey taste. I'll buy a jar of these and my wife and daughter will eat the whole bottle before I can get to them!

Make sure they are the Best Maid "Baby Dills."

Update: It looks like they sell these in WalMart in Oklahoma (from the bestmaid website).

They could jessaka. I swear you won't be disappointed. I bought two bottles of these two days ago and they are almost all gone. They are sold at Wal-Mart in Oklahoma. I don't know if there is one near you.

I'm a long-time pickle connoisseur and have been a big-time pickle eater ever since I was a kid. I even like the pickle juice from these pickles; nothing goes to waste. My only complaint is that most of them are small, but then they wouldn't be "baby dills" then I suppose.

Here is their website. It tells where they are sold, the history of the company, provides some recipes, and more.

I always loved radishes. We had an apple orchard of 8 trees on our property growing up and I would go out there with a salt shaker and eat some of the best green "June Apples" anyone has ever tasted. I could eat 6 or 7 apples at a sitting.

I called them "June Apples" but I don't really know what kind they were. They would rarely ripen into red, and some of the trees had apples that never turned red, they would turn more of a yellow tint when they were ripe. They were sweet, sour, and all in-between.

My mom always told me I would get a stomach ache but I never did.

I knew a baby that ate whole onions. I hate radishes--too hot and the wrong kind of hot since I love chili peppers but not raw.

I put the dills on my grocery list and we do have a walmarts. won't go there today but will check out Reasor's first.

Sounds like you had Granny Smith or some other type of apple tree and a strong stomach.
