I live in Lone Grove and work in Ardmore. The city is growing, about 32000 i guess, my brother is an Ardmore Cop, yes the crime rate is increasing with the growth but that is to be expected. There is work for a licensed Electrician, I have no idea what the pay rate is. Check the Daily Ardmorite paper for job openings. The housing is rapidly rising with the growth, however the outlying communities have available housing. If you have school age children they will get a better education in Ardmore or Plainview, but the crime is higher there. All in all a good place to live and work with the expected growing pains.

I was born in Ardmore, and lived there until I was 19. I actually lived east of Ardmore, attended Dickson Schools. I loved it. Job opportunities took me elsewhere though. I do know people there and there are drug problems there, but aren't they everywhere? My kids went to Mustang Schools and they are worse there than anywhere around the metro area. Wish I could help you out with more info about Ardmore.
