Ran around Duncan today and took about 150 pics.
Probably take me a day or so to get them cropped, sorted and uploaded. My favorite pic of the day came after I got home, from my back steps. About 2 houses away sitting on a power pole was this lovely hawk! Pics aren't quite as sharp as I would like, the wind was blowing fairly hard and I haven't picked up a tripod yet.![]() ![]() ![]() |

It is really hard to get those birds when they are moving, or still for that matter. I really like the one where the hawk is taking off. Isn't it great to live with the wild animals?

you must have a fantastic zoom lens too. those photos are great! thanks so much.
i saw my first, probably seen them before in my lifetime, bald eagle sitting on a fence post in Locust Grove. As I was slowly driving down the road he flew away, but the car was so close to him before he decided to take flight. |

I saw my first bald eagle last winter. He flew right over me. At first I thought it was a hawk following some ducks, but as he flew overhead, I saw that unmistakable white head and neck. I almost fell off my porch.

Thanks LR! I love birds AND squirrels. I feed the birds and squirrels around here every chance I get. I can sit and watch them for an hour or more.
