Think mine will make the grade? ![]() Fun with the wildlife... ![]() (he was actually a tame baby that we had to watch for a couple of days before he went to a wildlife refuge to be re-acclimated to the wild and released...long story, happy ending )Froggy took a wrong turn and wound up in the hallway! ![]() Time to head home now... ![]() Now show me yours?? ![]() (wasn't sure if I should put these in the ok pic section, you can move them if you need to!! ) |

That picture of the little girl riding the catfish cracked me up! I'm glad she had a saddle blanket.

Great photos. First Crepe Myrtle bush that I have ever liked.
Did you take your cat with you or is that your pond or a stray cat? |

These pictures rock! I loved them. The catfish looked like he was smiling just like the baby. Post more!

Neither.
Rod and Reel with braided line. (I'd have to ask him again what lb 'test' he used that day) He has done a bit of Noodling when he was younger, but it's not exactly his "cup of tea".The day he caught those two monsters was just one of those days when everything in the universe lined up perfectly, and he chose the perfect spot. He caught them next to the spillway at Waurika Lake... they had opened the floodgates after all the rain we'd had. He was on his way to work when he remembered the gates being opened down that way and he got the *urge* This guy keeps his rods and tackle in the car at ALL times 'just in case'.The one on the left weighed 44lbs and the other 27lbs. The one with our laughing 2 month old Granddaughter is the only pic they took with her... she was on and off that fish in the blink of an eye, which is why she was laughing. Her Momma put down almost a whole roll of papertowels first and Daddy snapped the pic.The pictures were all taken at the boat-ramp just before they released them. B and his 44lb'er (B is 5' tall) ![]() On the ramp time to swim free! ![]() These pics were from a trip they took south of Duncan... can't remember which creek right now! It wasn't long after all the flooding rains and the creek had started to go down leaving the banks slippery with Clay. The boys had been "google mapping" the creek for 2 weeks looking for the perfect bend... ![]() Daughter's first Blue Cat 7.7lbs ![]() Their friend with the same fish... the banks were so muddy the fish started to get stuck before she could pull it in, and he being a "true gentleman" dove into the clay to help her bring it in. ![]() ![]() B and his 12lb'er ![]() |

![]() The kitty in the picture belonged to the owners of the property (family friends) there were 3 of them and they were quite 'helpful' while we were fishing. ![]() ![]() Quote:
![]() He was adorable but he was a REAL handful (literally!) Insatiable curiosity coupled with boundless energy... He would go from one spot to the next pulling things off shelves trying (very successfully) to get into every cabinet and drawer he came to... if he saw one of us do something he would quickly mimic what we did to get something open. We had 48 hours of NoNo! Come here! Don't do that! and Uh Oh! The daughter and I were exhausted by the time we got him off to his new habitat! We also had 48 hours of non-stop laughter with that little clown! ![]() Playfully "attacking" my arm: ![]() He fell in love with this this stuffed toy and took it with him when he left. ![]() ![]() I also have a couple of less than flattering shots of him ON my head...where he enjoyed mussing and grooming my hair. He was especially fond of the Mister's salt&pepper colored beard...he would climb on his shoulder and pat his little hands all over the hubby's face.I think he thought the hubby was a giant raccoon! ![]() |
