It takes about 40 minutes to get to Muskogee and 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to Tulsa, Fayetteville, or Ft. Smith. Muskogee has a few more stores than we do, like Pet Co, Office Depot types. A very small mall with fewer items than most malls. I mean the Dillards is really limited. I do some shopping via catalog or amazon.com. I just don't want to drive in traffic to these cities even though traffic is nothing like San Diego where I drove all the time.

I do more and more shopping on the internet myself. It saves so much time and hassle, and the shipping costs are less than the gas to drive to the store usually.

Have you ever seen a fat bigfoot? They love the low fat foods cooked on my George Foreman grill, so they can stay lean and mean.
Nice Ada pictures, Redbird. |

They do what teenagers do anywhere except they do it in pickups on dirt roads as opposed to cars in parks.

I was born at Valley View hospital and lived in Ada for 25 years until I relocated to Logan, UT - - -which is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I have often said that I wish the folks from Ada could all be put here in Logan and then I would have the best of both worlds. I had a wonderful time growing up in Ada, but when I look back, I think it was becuase all of my family lived there in the area. With this being said, I grew up there and now have raised my kids somplace else. I know there seems to be a lot of drugs there and a lot of teen partiers, which may be associated with all of the wonderful back roads. Have you listened to country songs about life in a small town and red dirt roads, this is Ada. Get your boys involved in sports or other activities and they will be fine. I don't particulary like the town, but the people are down home and friendly. I was a graduate of ECU and got a good education there, which led me to other opportunities in life. Your boys will probably make some good friends there.
As you know, moving teenagers can be somewhat tricky, make sure they get in with a good crowd and you will be fine. Ada high seems to be a good school if your boys like football. Byng High school is okay if your boys like basketball. Latta is not bad either. There are good kids and kids that have made some bad choices at all of the high schools. Ask me if you need anything else. |

Personally I prefer to wait till they go to the mall, then move before they get home.......so far, they always find me, but there is always hope for the next time...............
