So is this a tax just on the indian tobacco sales?

If so I am all for it.

They get an unfair advantage already. It drives a lot of business into their conv stores.

Oh...not to change the topic but I don't really keep up with state politics too much. Isn't Fallin the one that had the whole dust up about the state trooper affair?

Yes, that happened while she was Lieut. Gov. But she went on to be elected governor twice. Even though in the Old Testament, adultery was punished by death, Oklahoma Christian Republicans found her pretty easy to forgive and forget, since she did a good job of standing up for the 3 G's, meaning to be Pro God, Pro Gun and anti Gay. Holding elected politicians accountable to uphold those three issues is, by far, most important to the hearts and minds of most voting Oklahomans and help explain why education, the justice system and health care in the state are in such sad, sorry shape. Of course, there can be rare exceptions to the rule. While no longer in office, elected to office was a gay state senator some years back. The Democrat state legislators, such as Rep. Cory Williams, tend not to do a very good job upholding the three G's.

It would help if Oklahomans would quit voting for Republicans, who stand for Old Testament values, instead of Constitutional values.

Well, after a few centuries of being slaughtered, ripped off, marginalized, moved off land time and again, having treaties signed then broken time and again...

getting to sell cigs at a slightly lower price and being able to open casinos doesn't seem such a major "unfair advantage."
