It's the most upscale neighborhood in OKC. While there are some normal sized homes, there are plenty of huge mansions. Lots of old money. It's the OKC version of Highland Park. What specifically did you want to know about it?

We would have liked to have bought in Nichols Hills when we relocated here a few years ago, for the same reason. DH liked the commute to downtown. But Edmond won out, because we could get so much more home for the money than in Nichols Hills, and the schools were better. As an aside, DH's commute from the north east side of Edmond to downtown is 25-30 minutes most days. Traffic here is really non-exsistant. We came from Houston, so we would have thought a drive as far as Edmond to Downtown would have been much, much longer, but here it's really no problem. There's lots of cars on the roads, but they are all going 70mph. Not what we were used to.
