Even Oral Roberts and Kenneth Copeland claim to be Cherokee. We have Choctaw astronauts. In this part of the country there is no difference between the ndn and non-ndn.
I personally WISH I had been an "NDN" in the olden days. They had it all. What an awesome lifestyle they lived. It must have been SO cool.
(NOTE: where I'm from, "Indian" is not a nice word... "Native American" makes more sense because they aren't from India... Columbus was a dope. )

But... my question was because I just wanted to make sure my "anglo" kids wouldn't face any discrimination in OK.
(What can I say? We're from the North East... What do we know?)

I'll check it out... Actually, I think I already may have.
We ARE doing as much research as possible.

Even spoke to an Okie today on the phone.

Thanks,

When I get to OK, I'll hook you up with the GOOD stuff.

I am sitting on our porch today, working. There is a light breeze blowing. the thermometer says 79, but it feels more like 85 or so. I went out to feed the hogs while ago so I put on a shirt (didn't want them to splash me) Never did get out of my pajama shorts (being 150 yards from the road provides privacy). Made some fresh iced tea a bit ago. Dinner tonight will be chicken on the grill. Am thinking I might have to mow the grass one last time....maybe Thursday.....it will be clear then but will only get up to 50 or so.

That's why I became an appraiser......I spend about 30% of my time walking around peoples houses, and the rest is sitting in front of a computer writing......and I went paperless several years ago, so where I am is where my office is. Got rid of the landlord nearly a decade ago.

No, Even though you have the upper-hand weather-wise over me at the moment, come Summer, you'd KILL for the temps here.
(And I probably will also if I end up in OK. )
