CG, If he had been raised in OK he probably never would have landed in the Navy. He left while we were still in CA. It was a combination of serious problems with the school system out there, (don't get me started... I get ugly. ) along with a lack of decent job prospects in the area.

The Navy seemed like the best "way out" for him.

It will be good to have him 'home' again, so he can walk in the fields and go fishing with his Grampa, annoy his little sister, exasperate his father and worry his mother.
