Default Happy Birthday, Oklahoma

Happy Birthday, Oklahoma. I celebrated your 50th with you but I have to miss your 100th. Three years ago we decided it was time for a new adventure, so we moved to western Washington. In that time I've missed the Air Force 60th anniversary and anniversary celebrations of two aircraft programs I worked with for a long time, but the biggest thing I'm missing is the centennial of my beloved Oklahoma. This summer I was riding our mower, singing Oklahoma! and realized I was missing the Lyric Theatre's centennial production of the play. I wasn't there when the Aviation and Space Hall of Fame honored the Aviator of the Century.

I'll get back one of these days, but in the meantime, would y'all give her a hug for me!!

Default Happy Birthday

I read your email and we lived in Quapaw the same time you were there. I remember the Indian Village. We live in Western Washington also.

I might go cut some switches and come after you, bad boy. Seriously, no problem. Since it only happens once every 100 years, we have to stretch the b-day out over as many days as possible.

Happy Birthday to my soon to be state. I am so sorry to be missing all the celebrations this year, but I've followed them online all this year. New Jersey doesn't have anything neat like a statehood day because we were one of the originals. A lot of nice things associated with that, though, too. Happy birthday, y'all (do I have the wrong accent here? LOL)

WOOOO-HOOOO Happy Birthday, Oklahoma!!!! I didn't realize it wasn't a state until 1907. Guess I never brushed up on the state history part.
