Yes, especially if being in 21 of the 50 states before doesn't count for enough, but I don't need to travel across the country to realize how wrong and lodged in the Dark Ages Oklahoma laws are against marijuana. Besides, what's been going forward in Arkansas in trying to get medical marijuana legalized in November is nicely contrary to how Arkansas is supposed to act as a Bible Belt state. And doesn't mean Oklahoma can't do the same.

It didn't occur to me you would agree! And, yes if Arkansas makes it legal, perhaps Oklahoma will do it too.

While you are thinking about stuff, here's something to chew on. Nine percent of the OK population is Native Americans that are members of one of the 500 federal and/or state recognized groups/nations/tribes in Oklahoma. This is an aggregate total population of over 400,000. The state may make it legal. It doesn't mean the tribes will allow it on tribal land or in the casinos.

I wouldn't be surprised that you have never before in your life drank so much that you could no longer focus your eyes and so could only see in doubles. I've never heard of a pot smoker being that visually impaired.

Goodpasture, I can always count on a post like this from you to cheer my day up!! Too funny!

I know I've said this before, but we must not forget where we live. Marijuana won't be decriminalized anytime soon, medical or otherwise. Keeping these prisons in business with a stout portion of the inmates serving time for simple possession is what's keeping them in business. The Oklahoma Gazette has some recent articles that will enlighten you about that. Not sure if thats already been discussed here as I've not been following this thread too much.

Oklahoma is pretty anti-government but you do see bills that say they prefer big government like an almost 10% tax on groceries. I'd imagine either Oklahoma or Alaska will be the first "red states" to legalize marijuana because like i say they both don't want government in your lives.
