I was disappointed in Bricktown, but I loved the buildings. Just that they mostly contained nightclubs. I wanted shopping. They are great for those that go out and night to have fun; I don't go out at night. The canals there are really neat to see.

When you go to Guthrie, if you have lunch, there are two great places that I know of in the historic district, one is at the old train depot, the other is the tea cottage.

Guthrie is about 25 miles north of Edmond.

Rose Rock Museum. I wonder what that is?

Jessaka, I had never heard of the Rose Rock Museum either. Here's a link:

Timberlake Rose Rock Museum, Noble, Oklahoma

It looks interesting. I will have to go by there. Thanks, CaliOkieGirl!

That's unfortunate. Oklahoma City has a lot to offer. I do admit though, the weather can take a tole on you here. 70 one day, 30 the next, 50 the next, etc, etc. Not to mention we've got a good 3 months of winter left and if she's cold already...heck, it's in the 50's and I'm in a t-shirt.

I am sorry that you have to move to cali. I thought that the weather was rather boring in southern California, as in, no weather. Maybe they will change their minds.

Your puppies want to stay in OKLAHOMA too. Don't forget to include them in your talk. CA is not easier as everything is more expensive there. If your family buys a house taxes will be high as will payments. If they rent it will be very expensive. Stores are expensive; food is expensive. Transportation is slow in LA.

Pretty photos, and I love the Pac Man. By the way, the skies are bluer here, and in LA you seldom see blue skies, but you do see a lot of smog. And crime is higher.
