Great news! California may look glamorous but I can't imagine it being better living there.

I agree colleen. You look a lot like my daughter Cali; about the same age and all. It's good to have you on the forum. Stick around! I'm glad to hear that you are staying in Oklahoma. Good luck to you and yours!
Edit: Cali, I never really did read your very first post and let me say how sorry I am to hear about your loss. You must be a very strong young lady and I wish you and yours all the best. Your grandparents are very fortunate to have such an intelligent, resourceful young lady in their home. Take care.

I agree. Okie Cali Girl reminds me of my daughter when she was about that age. Same pretty hair and eyes.

Hi Cali_Okie_Girl,
I'm REALLY glad things worked out for you.
I have a daughter your age also...
You'd like her.
In fact, she's probably going to be talking to you here...
She'd like your take on being a 15 year old girl in OK.
The girls her age here are a bit too immature (goofy) for her.
(I concur... Most of the teens here are pretty goofy compared to those I've seen on this forum from OkieLand.)
Very best of luck to you!
M.

Hey Pewter Guy, I have a 15 year old daughter too. She is also VERY mature for her age. Not sophisticated (like most teen girls think they are), just mature. And believe it or not, we don't fight!

Wow!
We may be the only ones on the planet who can say that... (God, I hope not!!!!!!!!)
Ooops... Forgot Tex! Umm... I mean "Synopsis" for a second... Sorry!!!
He's our kind of folk too... I know for a fact.
My girl is WAY mature for her age (common-sense-wise and morally too), but NOT worldly in the sense of the girls today who watch MTV... Including my friends' girls... or boys for that matter.
As beautiful and good as she is, I don't worry too much about her, because she has a VERY GOOD head on her shoulders...
(And Mom and I are quite protective of both our kids...)
Congratulations on raising a decent girl... Guess a couple of guys will be luckier than they know (or deserve) some day...
You sure seem like our kind of folk... (From your posts on this forum.)
Hope we all end up in OK and doing okay.
Power to you for raising good kids! Especially in NJ... (It ain't easy these days!)
It's a FULL-TIME job. (No kidding folks!)
M.

Apparently everyone has a 15 year-old daughter? If I did that'd be trouble haha.
