While in the area, you can also visit the Beaver Sands Portal near the town of Beaver. It's in a State Park, so no problem getting permission.

According to Peter Faris, as stated in his Rock Art Blog, The Anubis Caves are located in Cimarron County based on his visiting the site in 1986. I've been to the Anubis caves. They are on the Kansas border straight north of Kenton on private property. You can get a local retired social science teacher to take you out. I stayed at a bed and breakfast and they offered to take us.

I believe I may know where these caves are. They are on private land, but that doesn't mean a person can't get permission like I did. If I'm not mistaken they're located about 2 miles from both Colorado and New Mexico and can be seen from the main road going into Colorado.

I know exactly where the Anibus Caves are and can easily gain permission to visit with a days notice. They are NOT SE of Boise City.
