You practiced karate, Cali_Okie? Now why am I not surprised? Very athletic activity, and in some styles you even get to go tumbling through the air just like in cheer.

I gave karate a try when I started back to school to get my second bachelor's degree. I took it for two semesters as a gym class. The gym classes didn't go any further than those two semesters, however, and this was in kind of a rural area, where there were somewhat limited possibilities for martial arts instruction, so that was the end of it for me, at least at the time. I wouldn't mind taking it up again once I get settled into one place for a few years of grad school. Setting aside all kidding about stretching myself into the hospital, I would prefer more of a low-kicking style. Also a style with a wide, low stance, since I weigh over 200 pounds and am kind of chesty and top-heavy, so I need a wide wheelbase to be stable. The style I was involved in was very traditional, so no purple belts or the like. All they had was white, brown, and black. They told us that after the two semesters we were roughly equivalent to green belt.

So now to get this totally back onto topic, all we need are some pictures of martial arts dojos in Oklahoma. Any takers?

Now why would they want to go and "shoot it", Why don't they just take a few pictures of it, that way they won't get into any trouble

But don't try to clean your monitor with them.
(And NO, I won't go there.)

I said "hair on my head" not the southern end. Besides, in order to clean my monitor with that end I'd have to get Bjb123 to help me. And I know that ain't going to happen .
