I suppose I could tell NA stories, but I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject compared to some of the forum's residents.
(Just being a wise guy! HAPPY SATURDAY Synopsis!)

Just catching up on chat now. I got behind as the week went on again.
Redbird and Goodpasture, that's interesting about the peace pipes. I had heard there was actually pot residue found in a lot of older ones. Is that true? You're probably from a different tribe then we have here. We have the Sioux up here. And Goodpasture, when you said "Peltier", are you referring to Leonard Peltier from up here? AND you said your friend is from the Yankton Sioux Tribe? That's only about an hour and a half away from me. I have also loved the "nature" part of the Indian culture. You're all right. The earth would be a lot healthier if we'd have adopted that from the Natives.
Peggy, I love the horses. Your white horse looks like the two we had when I was growing up. They were a Mom and Daughter and both looked the same.

This website for the Chickasaw Nation has some pretty interesting links. Look under "Heritage & Culture." It's very interesting. Most of my Native American friends are of the Chickasaw or Choctaw heritage. The two tribes are like cousins, closer actually (more like brothers) because at one time they were both one tribe.

I swear, some of the friendliest, kindest people that I have ever known are Native Americans, regardless of which Tribe.

Okay, now what was the topic again??
Oh, Synopsis, thanks for the honorary status. Gee, I don't really deserve this, but thanks!
By the way, folks, after about a year of having trouble getting KXY to streamline on my computer in Texas, I finally got it to play!!
I've got several favorite stations from both Texas and Oklahoma and I needed to get KXY on my list, and now I can listen to it here in Lewisville.
Ah, the joys of the internet!!

Stick around case. You are a great asset to this forum. BTW, what station is KXY?
PS. This is the "chattin' thread. It's okay to go off-topic, that's what it's for!
