I will be de-foresting my yard. I wanted to go to the Italian Festival in McAlester and if I can find a way to get away, I will. But, the yard and pool comes first.

Bad news. I went to the MD this past week and they weighed me. I now weigh 300 lbs.!! Guess I better go on a diet, ya think? Oh well. I bought a juicer with that $50 gift certificate from CDF.
I wonder if you can put double-cheeseburger and fries into it? Maybe I can join GP's 300 pounder club. Any other fatties wanna fess up on how they are doing on their new year's resolution to lose weight? Hmm? Remember that thread a long time ago??

Use the juicer rb, and without the fries and cheeseburger! I have lost 23 pounds since the beginning of the year using my juicer. I was at 190 and now I'm down to 167; pretty much my perfect weight at 5' 10" to 5' 11" tall. And that was without exercise. I have also been eating nothing but healthy food, steamed vegetables and very little meat (mostly fish). I couldn't do too much walking because of the pinched nerve in my back/leg. Now, I'm able to walk again with less pain and plan to do much more.

You can do it RB. The secret to me being able to stay on this diet is that I use a lot of spices to make things taste great. I can give you a list of things to eat and good juicer recipes if you'd like. Oh, another benefit; my blood pressure, which was always borderline is in the very very healthy range now (105/70).

As for juicing, just google "juicer recipes" and you'll come up with loads of good recipes. Be sure to wash everything thoroughly of course. One important thing. Juicing fruits is good, but it's better to juice vegetables because many fruits are high in sugar. One particular juice recipe that I like is one apple, a cucumber, two medium carrots, and two stalks of celery. I do that once every day and it is really nutritious and healthy.

Redbird, go vegetarian. It does wonders for your figure and for our furry friends.

Just HAD to tell you guys to catch the Weather Channel this weekend. They have the "Road Crew" on intermittently and they're in the Arbuckles. They did a really neat story about the Turner Falls area.

Robyn, you're from Duncan, aren't you? Have you heard anything about Sanford Healthcare System starting up there? If so, I've got NEWS for you. They started up in Sioux Falls a couple of years ago and are now expanding to Duncan.

This guy looks like he's got more chins than a Chinese telephone book.

Sorry Redbird, but I only weigh in at about 235-240 and being 6'1" it seems to spresd it out pretty good.
