If they were, don't you think the axle and king pin assembly would come up with it.? if you look under the tanker you'll see a round plate with a hole in it, and in the center of the axle assembly you'll see another round plate with a post. They connect simular to a 5th wheel but don't slide on, a crane sets them on the assembly. But it just sits and don't lock.

Right. Not to change the topic...I learned alittle about trains............This happened 2 blocks behind my place in CA.(1989)
You can see the roof of my house in this pic. Look for the highest tree(to the right) and the roof top to the left of it.

Jammie, if you want warmth you should have been at my place yesterday. It was like a sauna all day.

That was an interesting lesson about the train cars and wheels, MK.

Peggy, I wish I could've been. We hit a whopping 61 and today we're supposed to hit 53 degrees. UGH. We're supposed to be at 75 degrees right now.

We just found out a few hours ago that DH's nephew passed away over in Wisc. So we're going to be heading that way. I think we're leaving early Thurs. morning and returning late Sat. Kind of a bummer~he was either 34 or 35. Can't remember when his birthday is.

You're complaining????
I wouldn't mind that at all....

When it's cool, you can always put on more clothes...
When it's HOT you can only take off so much before you get arrested.

If you'd like to trade for a while, I'd be OK with that...
(Pun intended.)
