Yep, they are "city-ists." Bad, very bad.

I hear that one certain person originally from Amsterdam is a darn good cook as well though.

Do we have to beat the bushes until one falls out, or do you have someone in mind...How's the recruiting going? That was awful nice of you to use your baby pic in the recruiter poster. Kinda creepy , but nice of you anyway.

It looks like mini me from Austin Powers!

I've suggested someone, but they have yet to respond. I think the Oklahoma forum is low on their list of priorities for mods, and that is a good thing.

Lies....
All vicious lies!
He has a picture of the Alamo over his bed!
He wants to bring in another Texan to subvert the place...

If I'm not mistaken, LR was a mod and retired...

MK will need to stay under the radar for a while before he can get that
position...

RB...
Now that might be interesting...
It would definitely liven things up a bit.

I don't think Karibear would take the job, but she might be fun...

Nameless will be too busy with girls soon....

How about schousse....
(Nevermind!)

I know "I" don't have the correct temperament for the job...
I'm not near as nice and patient as "Tex".
(Or just about anyone else for that matter.)

Colleen?
She has the right temperament, but she is from Joisy....

I think Jammie might be a good choice...
She can handle another forum...
Especially such a nice place where everyone always behaves perfectly...
(She's not an actual Okie yet, but she acts like one.)

Ogre or TedFoster might be good choices...

I'm still trying to figure out why Peggy (The Gunslinger) retired so soon...

Jessaka gave the job up too...

Hey!
I know!
How 'bout GP!

THAT could be interesting!
He moderates other forums, and no one has been killed.... Yet!
He'd actually be a good moderator, but I don't think he'd want to operate under the CD constraints...

OK Tex....
Let us in on your recommendation...

Hey!
There you go...

Don't y'all think we should all VOTE for our next moderator???
This is still America, right?

OK....
I've raised enough trouble....
Back to regularly scheduled programming...
(That is unless we have to interrupt for a severe weather alert or something...)

Hmmm.....
I thought you said you were...
I guess you'd know, so I stand corrected...

In that case, if you want it...
I hereby nominate LR for mod.

Okay, Miss Oklahoma Pic-Lady, why don't you toss your name into the hat?

I would NOT make a good mod. Way, way too an@l retentive! I would enforce the rules with an iron hand and people would stop posting. After all, x-prison guards do not make good babysitters.

Off-topic? THWACK!

Nothing to do with Oklahoma? THWACK! over the fence into proper forum.

Idle chatter on the pic forum? THWACK, THWACK, THWAAAACK! outta the ballpark
.

Some people just can't handle authority. I have always felt like I was reincarnated gestapo in a concentration camp when I was an officer. And it DOES change you.

If Seabutterball was not so busy trucking and working all the time, he would be pretty good. Seals are known to be death on wheels.

Guess we need some youngster with no social life to volunteer. Come on, who's it gonna be? Synopse needs to take someone under his wing and train him/her properly. Who's your next victim, synopse?

OGRE! OGGRE! O-GRRR! OHHHH - GERRRRR!!

Yeah, I guess if you were constantly moderating yourself
it wouldn't work out.

Seabiscuit would need to moderate himself to the point we'd never hear from him again either...

LR would be a good choice, and Ogre would have also, but I haven't seen him in a while... Perhaps we scared him off...

I still think GP would be fun...
He'd add a whole new dimension to the place...
