Peep has been upgraded from his small "recovery box" to one that lets him flap his new wing feathers. In a few more days when his feet are stronger I will give him a new box that will let him hop around and try "perching".... after that we start flying lessons and hunting for food. Wish us luck! Freedom awaits!

That brings back good memories. We've rescued several birds in the past and the two that were our favorites were the mockingbird and the robin. Both birds are VERY resiliant.
