Don't thank me, thank sanspeur over on the photography thread.

OK, RB, you're in more danger right now than that poor sap in the pic. See if I give you any more jam and pickles!!

That pic looks man made anyway. The video of the climbers was VERY real and VERY scary for me.

(thinking of ways to get even )

Seeb, I think everyone is just "burned out" -- excuse the pun. It's very very hot here, and I think everyone is just keeping a low profile. I certainly hope that's what it is. I agree, things have gotten very boring here lately. Also, so many people are missing: ComputerGuy; Ogre; Cali-Okie Girl; Jammie; and Jessaka posted for the first time today in a long time. We also don't hear much from Nameless, and CaseySimplified just posted today for the first time in a long time. Peg seems to have taken a break too and J double R decided he didn't want to be one of us! I'm hoping everyone comes back in full force when the weather cools.

This time of the year is exactly the perfect time of the year to be inside and out of the hot weather, posting on CD..

I'm inside alright, but I seem to be spending most of my time either on the phone or computer, trying to find a dog for a buddy for mine. One would think that with all the dumps and the rescues and shelters full, and people on craigslist frantically searching for homes for the overflow, at least ONE of them would be willing to drive one to me since I've offered to pay for the gas. Either no one wants to take the time, in which case their dog goes to a pound, or they simply won't adopt to anyone who can't walk through the door and say "That one." Since all the doors are too far away for me to walk to, that lets me out.

Paddy really needs a buddy to remind her how to be a dog again, after the last year and a half.

That's too bad karibear; good pet owners are a gold mine. Me and mine treat pets like members of the family, because they are.

Animals are God's gift to us and they need to be treated as such.

I wish you luck in finding a companion for Paddy.
