We're all whining right now...it's too hot to do anything else.

according to this page: Oklahoma: Temperature Extremes — Infoplease.com

Tipton, Tishomingo and Poteau have all hit 120F So I guess it could be worse!

You know, I would like to be the voice of reason in this heat thing. Yes, it's hot. In fact it's very hot. First of all, it's summer. Second, most of us have air conditioning. I can't help but think of our ancestors who lived in this very same heat with no a/c, and far enough back they didn't even have electric fans. Also, shorts and tank tops were not considered decent attire. Most of them worked outdoors or in very close quarters in the house. Showers?? I don't think so. So come on folks, suck it up. Anyway, it's almost over.

(gonna go soak my head in a bucket of cold water)

Right now I am wondering if I could squeeze myself into our G-Daughter's froggy pool!

LR, your granddaughter is absolutely adorable!! Is she the one with the new baby brother or sister on the way?

Actually, it's too hot outside to swim during the day. I usually go out at night time and do my laps. If you and Jim are so desperate to cool off that you want to take a trip up, come any time.
