Wow, interesting story Schousse and GP. I'd be like Schousse; not sleeping at night until it was found. I'd be okay if I KNEW it was not poisonous. Snakes don't freak me out too much, but if they are poisonous .....

Yeah, I don't mind snakes either unless they are poisonous. I would hate for one of my animals to get bitten.

Don has snakephobia (right word?). If a snake ever touched a chicken egg, he wouldn't eat it. I never bring up that subject. When I was rototilling the garden this spring, we saw about 8 tiny snakes, so I guess we disturbed a nest.

Not exactly my favorite animal either.

<heebie jeebie shakes>

You are very brave, GP! The snakerminator!

We don't have anything major planned. What are you and Uncle Don doing?

Next weekend (Sept. 5 & 6) is Mustang's Western Days. I'm working at least one of those days with my daughter's Drama class teacher on fundraising at the festival. But nothing so far for Labor Day weekend.

Same here... Not a clue. Been so tied up with family stuff, I can't think straight.

Short version: G-baby had her first B-day and she is starting to walk now. New G-baby is due in 14 weeks and "Momma" still hasn't been able to get any kind of health insurance.

The Son hasn't been able to find work in CT. So he decided to move back home. *YAY* But he crashed his car and needs help getting it fixed.

Today was our Anniversary. 24 years with this amazing guy! (Married for 12 ) He forgot... Good thing I love him so much.

I need a vacation...

Wow, LR and Colleeg just lead boring old lives, don't you!

As usual, we will stick close to the home front. We need to pull the maters up and do a few chores around the house.

I am thinking of hitting Remington Park to see the thouroughbreds run. We had a lot of running around in Denver last week and too much of that crowded city made us very happy to return home to boring old rural Oklahoma.

LR, are you going to name your grandkid after your DH? Why not!!

That's what you get for having a family! I never could remember our weding anniversary either - I do remember the day and year we met, but we didn't get married for awhile after that, and I always forget it. I know the day, but the year escapes me. Not good with numbers, moi. I have to count back and forth to figure out how old my own kids are!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! LadyRobyn and Jim!

I always remembered the Month and the year, but I always got the 21st and the 23rd mixed up. (3/23/1985)
But I always remembered the first thing she ever said to me:
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT! I teased her about all the time.
In fact that's what it say's on my screen saver.
