You mean you get this icon?

Don't worry. They always say that these days with their protection programs. It does that for any "executable" file. It doesn't mean you are going to be executed, just say "allow" or whatever it asks you. It's a safe program.

I have no Christmas photos, and they want only Christmas for the contest.

These wierd people photos that you guys keep coming up with are going to give me nightmares. Don't you realize that I have a fragile mind? I will have monsters chasing me in my dreams, but the last photo I may be able to save in my mind and so when I am dreaming I can blow them up.

Jessaka, several people have submitted pics of scenery and landscapes, so you can too!

SYNOPSE and CG, my stupid computer says it is not a valid win32 exe application or something like that.

It's GOOD, or I wouldn't have posted it here...
(I AM a "Computer Guy" you know.... And I'd NEVER lead my new Okie friends wrong.)

If you ran Linux instead of Windoze, you'd never need to worry about most of that stuff.
(And YES, The GIMP is also available in a Linux version.)

Hope you enjoy The GIMP!

It sounds like you might have downloaded the wrong version of the program. What Operating System are you running, DOS?

Seriously, is it XP or Vista?
