MK, your recertification is due! MK! We'll have to take away your Okie Geek Status if you don't renew! Certifications are only good for one year and you're nearly one month past due...

Speaking of renewals. What is the status of our beloved LadyRobyn? Has she forsaken her CDF Mod status in favor of her grandmotherly duties?

It's getting warmer, but it annoys me when the southern half of Alaska is warmer than it is here!

We hit -17 degrees, -26 with the wind chill last nite and my semi wouldn't keep running this morning . We had to change the feul filters and put a turbo heater on the tank. So now the boss has told everyone that to keep thier trucks running 24 hrs a day until this deep freeze breaks.

Sounds like the winter we spent in Anchorage. Nearly everyone had block heaters, and the ones who didn't spent an hour or so every morning using hair dryers under a visqueen tent to try to warm them up enough to start. But that was then, the past few days it's been in the 40s there, and some of the coastal towns were over 50 yesterday. Guess that's what I get for teasing them about our 74 degrees the day after Christmas!

She was just in contact with us and apologized for such a long absence. She'll be back as soon as she can get her puter thing resolved, too. She's such a ray of sunshine and I've missed her, too.

Synopsis, that is funny!!!

I bet I have at least 3 computers in spare parts, too many keyboards, monitors, even RAM lying around. I bet Synopsis could build LR one better than she can buy anywhere.

Seabee, your weather sounds like a nightmare. I don't see how people make it to work in weather like that. Especially those with low paying jobs who can't afford costly car repairs and maintenence. Must be the pits.

Well someone get to it and build that lady a new puter, will ya's. We miss her.

And your right about the nightmare Redbird, thats one of the many reasons we want out of Ohio. With the exception of Friday "frozen feul filters" I was driving 2 hrs, to Toledo to pick up 21 ta 23 tons of salt and get it to the turnpike shops just 13 miles from the Indiana line. That makes for a long day don't ya know. As per the orders from my boss, "don't shut your rigs down, until the temp rises above zero degrees", the trucks been running since yesterday afternoon.

Hey, if a male sheep is a "RAM", and a donkey is a "ASS" (Biblical Term), Then why is a RAM in the *ss called a GOOSE?

Sorry. I should've been more specific. I think she's switching internet providers. Her computer is alive and well.
