Hey, folks. How about we pass along some Christmas reps? How about a little repetition of reputation to spread forth among all mankind? Hurry, now, before that cow does anything.

I can't rep any of the regulars, but I will rep you casey! *DANG, I can't even rep you case! I don't know whats up with this rep thing.
P.S. One of our puppies died. waaa. He had a rough life. He was the runt. Then he was stepped on by Myla when she was jumping back into the litter box. Then he was developmently slow, and just ~!weren't right in the head!~ I guess Grandfather wanted him to come over the rainbow bridge early.
Only 2 left.
He looks like he is saying, "My brain doesn't work right."

Well, maybe you can try again in a week or so. But you can spread it around to everyone else until then.

I can't stand your puppy dying. He does look like he really isn't in this world.

Cancer news
Thought I would share this with my okie friends. This year Don and I decided not to exchange gifts for christmas.
And that is okay, because the whole gift buying can really get out of hand. I am the type who loves to buy really cool gifts, and I don't like anyone getting left out, so I buy up the store. Also, all that commercialism undermines the true meaning of christmas IMHO.
Anyway, we had ANOTHER doctor appt at the cancer treatment center the day after christmas. We have been going to so many Dr. appt's this one was no different except it was for the petscan results.
They said Don is cancer free. Wow.
We were in shock because at this point, we were pretty much done with all the chemo and radiation and to tell the truth, we are ready for what comes, good or bad. Meaning we are prepared for the inevitable.
The funny part is we left the Dr.'s office so quick, we were just numb~ almost exactly like we were 6 months ago leaving the same Dr.'s office after they diagnosed him WITH cancer.
So, I told Don we both ended up getting the BEST christmas present ever. Funny how things work out. I met a lady who was there for her husband's FIRST radiation treatment. I said, Boy, do I have tons of advice for you! She said TELL ME everything!
I wish someone would have clued me in on our first visit. That lady and I had a nice chat. I could tell her and her husband were in that numb phase.
I think the only worse thing than cancer is ... the cancer treatments. It is brutal.
So, maybe our life can get back to some normalcy. I tried to send this post yesterday, but it wouldn't send, so I am retyping it. I found this CD forum by accident while staying home taking care of Don. I want to say thanks to everyone for putting up with my weird quirky humor. I think I might try working a 40 hour work week, just to see how the other half lives.

Redbird, I am soooooo happy, happy, happy for you and Don! I remember when my husband finished his chemo about 13 years ago and the doctor said he was cancer-free. He had his kidney removed and had chemo for a while. Our two kids were young then (5 and 3). I know the "numb" feeling. Good luck to both of you, and I'm sure this is going to be a super year! Great news.
