McCain scares me as well. That man has quite the temper and has mouthed off one to many times IMO. I've know where Hillary stands all along, as well as Obama.

I like Huckabee the best, if only for his firing of the IRS
I don't like Romney, he is too "slick" and friends in Mass talk about how badly he ran the government. he also wants to continue Bush's failed policies. He has no plan for health insurance accessibility. He likes justices like Thomas.
I don't like McCain as he wants to stay in Iraq for the indefinite future. he also wants to continue Bush's failed policies. He has no plan for health insurance accessability. His idea of economic recovery is give more money to rich folks.
regardless of who wins in the democrat primaries, I will vote for anyone who can defeat the Republicans. We have got to change the faces there on a regular basis......sometimes we get people in who are not as good as the ones who are fired, but simply shaking it up is an essential element of democracy.

I just heard an Obama commercial. He is talking about "fixing" Washington. That thought has often occurred to me, but remember, I live in the country. When I fixed my bull, he became a steer. When I get new dogs, I have them fixed as soon as they are old enough. When I bought a dozen hogs last year, I "fixed" the males so they wouldn't be so destructive.
I am liking what Obama is saying.

Do me a favor... when you figure it out, let US know too! We have already missed several local elections. We see the signs around town, maybe an article in the newspaper about one candidate...and then we get to read the RESULTS!... We're starting to wonder if they hold secret polls somewhere.

Call your county election board. They will be able to tell you your polling place.
I admit I'm prejudiced, but I don't think I could vote for a politician from Massachusetts.

Thanks, Synopsis. I enjoy being here and stop in whenever time allows. I've been doing battle in another spot.
I just really have to wonder when we'll have someone as cool as Ronnie Reagan running again. I loved his sense of humor and even if you didn't like him, you've got to admit he did a lot of fab things in the world.
I'm not extremely impressed with any of the candidates. I've got to read up on some of their feelings about national healthcare and the war in Iraq. We've listened to parts of the debates and other things, but they're getting so involved in bashing that they're forgetting to say where they stand on important things.
I do admire McCain because he's a tough old bird. When he was a captive, they were going to let him go when they discovered his Dad was pretty important. McCain refused and said he was going to wait his turn and to let the others go. He went through a horrific experience, but didn't want to be coddled and treated better then the other POWs. Not sure I'm too impressed with his politics, but I do respect him.
Oh, and what's up with that mutt ugly house that you pass by, Synopsis? OMG, it's ugly.

Just wanted to add that I really like Huckabee, too. I think he's genuine and sincere and I respect his spiritualism. I know that the force that's with him is inconquerable, but I really am afraid of what such a good person would be like as a Prez. Would he be eaten alive by all the evil in the world?
Oh, and what's up with the chic that's running for Prez? A woman's place is in front of the stove.
Seriously, this is really old-fashioned, but I prefer a man for the Presidency and the VP job. Sorry to be a traitor, girls, but I honestly feel that way.

Tuesday, pretty much all day MK. It's called Super Tuesday because it's the day that the most primaries are held across the United States.
More delegates can be won on Super Tuesday than on any other single day of the primary calendar, and accordingly, candidates seeking the presidency traditionally must do well on this day to secure their party's nomination.
Blue denotes Democratic-only caucuses (3), Red denotes Republican-only state conventions (2), and Purple represents states holding elections for both parties (19). Light red represents states which have had their republican primary before supertuesday and light pink represents states which have had their democratic & republican primary before supertuesday
