Thumbs up My son's valentine day

Just had to share this will y'all. My 18 year old son, Scott (whose middle name happens to be Valentine) wanted to do something special for his GF since Valentine's day is also the one year anniversary of them "going together." He told her they were going out for dinner, but what he did was turn our house into a restaurant. He ordered a dinner from the restaurant he works at, and decorated the house with balloons, candles, rose petals on the floor, and a sign that said "Greene's Garden" (for Olive Garden, and our name being Greene). He set a beautiful table and had a fire going in the wood burning stove in the dining room. I dressed up in a chauffer outfit and picked her up at her house. My husband dressed as a head waiter (complete with the white satin gloves Anna wore to her Cotillion dance) and met us at the door. Loni (the GF) took one look at everything and burst into tears (girls!) Anyway, they had a nice romantic dinner and aside from serving, we stayed out of their way. Anna said she would give her eye teeth to have a guy do that for her. I told her that her day will come, too. Isn't he sweet?

How sweet.
Too bad you don't have a video of that. I enjoy watching those type of "surprise" Special Occasions.

Didn't she get suspcious when she was picked up by a chauffer?
Or is she used to that?

No, she's not used to being picked up by a chauffer, but she is used to the various "surprises" he's given her. She's really a sweet girl, and almost like another daughter to me. That's the only bad thing about moving to OK.

Uh-oh...
"I get a wild hair"
Looks like I have to learn a LOT of new expressions when I get to OK.
