Yes he did , for "True Grit" an Oscar. Bjb123 and I were watching old recaps of the past Oscar award shows and they showed it. He commented "If I would have none that a patch would have helped, I would have worn one a long time ago." But sad to say it was the only one that he had ever recieved.

Not trying to change the subject, but thats one thing I remember about Mich,.
when Spring came, the fields was cover with flowers and the air was fresh and filled with the sweet smell of wild flowers. On the farm it was apple blossoms.

I've never heard of it but Mapquest.com shows it about halfway between Wright City and Broken Bow on an un-numbered road. It appears to be on a railroad line.

If you're into maps, I highly suggest you go to Google Maps. It's awesome; you can look at satellite views, terrain, and much much more.

Yes! My Silver Leaf Maple is budding already, and the Daffodil greens are sprouting up... My wisteria should be close behind!

I loved our first spring here and all of the wildflowers! Every month a new color would show up.
