I'm looking at moving to Kingfisher. I've worked there a few times over the past few years for short periods, usually a week.
I like that it seems really friendly and if I need to go to the big city its only 30 minutes away really. can you tell me the strong or weak points? |

I don't know much about Kingfisher, other than it is situated directly on the surveyed part of the Chisholm Trail and has a very good museum to explain it. It's a farming community, neat as a pin. If you have ranching/farming/agricultural/mechanical experience, I'm sure you won't have difficulty finding a job.

I love Kingfisher... it's a neat small OK town. And not too far from the metro. However, the county's 9-1-1 system is antiquated as compared to surrounding areas... and that leads me to believe that there may be more that is as well. Kinda concerns me. Very low crime numbers, tho.
Guess it just depends on what you want/need/like. |
