Back to Hee-Haw now, I grew up watching that show in syndication after it left CBS in the early 70's. I still remember Buck Owens and Roy Clark together. And it was not the first place I saw Buck; he also had a syndicated TV show before that. Lots of country music guest stars, too. And there was Grandpa Jones spoofing the Bicentennial Minute in the 1975-76 season. And we can't forget the ladies!

You've got to admit that the shows like Hee Haw didn't need to use the F word or any other four letter word to have fun and make you laugh .
With all the junk thats on TV today it almost make you want to throw the stupid thing out the window. Of course, that was the time when the family sat down to watch "family shows" together. But, today everyone is out doing their own thing.

As Ed McMahon would have said in my day... "You are correct sir!"
(On ALL counts!)

Sha-zam , I think back at one of my more favorite show "Gomer Pyle USMC", I can't remember any four letter words and it was a funny show aswell. Were did all the good show writers go?
And Giligan's Island to, but to this date I still can't figure out how they ever got by without having a bunch of kids, Maryann was a babe , and still is.
Oh I know, they didn't have the wefare department to fall back on, they did their own share of the work.

Maryann WAS a babe!
(Just don't tell my wife I said that!)

You forgot to mention Green Acres!
AND... The Beverly Hillbillies!

I was VERY young in those days, but they STILL are better than the
cr*p I've seen after those.

I agree with all of the above. And yes, Mary Ann was a babe.

They really needed the ACLU on that island though. Things would have been so much more civilized...

Hey, Synopsis and CompnterGuy can either one of you remember the names of all the hot babes like Maryann in all the TV shows of our childhood. Lets say "Donna Douglas"?

I hope no one get upset thinking that we're doing a pirate job on the Hee Haw post.

Bingo! Some body give that man a Rep point, I can't it won't let me anymore. Elly-mae Clampet, some place in this house of mine I have a picture of her from just a few years ago. I got it from my older sister who use to go to church with Donna Douglas in Oklahoma. She is still a beautiful lady.
