For those who are fascinated by the ancient lifeways of the past, here is a site of archeological surveys in Oklahoma.
http://www.ou.edu/cas/archsur/counties/ They are broken down into counties of Oklahoma. Might be interesting to see what ancient history as transpired in your local neck of the woods. Just click on your county and read. It may not go into detail, but it is interesting nonetheless. I love to think about the mammoth hunters that were here 12,000 years ago. Check out the Caddo County mammoth. |
