I am neutral as I'm not a sports fan so it makes little difference to me either way if the state has an NFL team or not. no skin off my nose either way.

Probably years ago people said no to the idea of Oklahoma needing a professional basketball team, but we got one, anyway. A pro football team would be awfully expensive to get established, since it would need a new football stadium built costing at least a half billion dollars, or more. Maybe a billionaire would like to build one, but highly unlikely.

why wouldn't the NFL build the stadium? they got gazillions of dollars. if they want to open up a stadium in oklahoma and make money from it, let them. if they want us to pay for it with our tax dollars, then I go from neutral to firm no. I don't understand why any state would give handouts to to companies and organizations who already have more money than they know what to do with, all while saying they can't afford to offer things like healthcare to poor people, or increasing spending on education, etc.

Republicans don't want the state to come up with the $40,000,000 needed to complete the Indian museum, so I would be surprised if they would want the state to help build a new football stadium. If NFL has plenty of money to build a stadium, they should take all the risk of building one and leave the taxpayers out of it.

This is just a little insight on what it's takes to bring a NFL team to a city in Oklahoma LOL..FOMC OKC and Tulsa don't
qualify as a NFL city.

Pay close attention to this web site below.....OKC can't afford anything with the NBA there , Tulsa can afford NFL , NHL ,
MLB , MLS , but can't afford MLB and folks listen to this Tulsa is a DEAD SPORTS CITY and only a Billionaire Moron would place a team there!!!!

An NFL team in Ok is not going to add viewership to increase tv revenue for NFL. If a team moves to OK from another city, most of the current team cities have more tv reach than an OK team would bring. So aint going to happen in my view

I wonder if experts were writing it was ridiculous to think Oklahoma City could support pro basketball before the Hornets used the Ford Center for a substitute.
