Honey's in Guymon is wayyyyy better than Duke's. I am a BBQ freak and luckily I travel to KC every six months as well as all over Oklahoma, Dukes is in the bottom 10% of the places I have eaten at. It is the best in Texhoma! (The Texas toothpics are great though)
So far the best BBQ overall I've had in OK is at Van's. Best ribs were at the Cumback in Perry (not a bbq place but they so serve it). Best value/most food is Honey's in Guymon and they have awsome fries. Best chain overall in OK is Earls but I like the food at the Swadley's by Quail Spring's mall the best.
Best BBQ I have ever ate anywhere was Oklahoma Joe's in KC (actually Lenexa).

Van's is OK. If you are ever in Norman, you should try to go to Harv's instead of Van's. Harv's is a barbeque stand on east lindsey street.
I've heard about Oklahoma Joe's, I would love to go there.
I know Bob's in Ada is under new ownership now so I can't vouch for the current product, but before, their chunk pork was absolutely awesome.

Lawton - Fort Sill area: John and Cook's BBQ (just South of Lee Blvd near Sheridan Rd., South side of town) has been famous for really good barbecue. They've also been known for having some very hot sauces.
Fisherman's Cove in Medicine Park also does a good job with barbecue. Crockett's on Gore Blvd is pretty decent. Still, I have to give it to John and Cooks for having the best BBQ in SW OK.

I agree with all who have mentioned Bob's in Ada. It's been awhile since I've been there, but it was really good.
Amy's in Holdenville has wonderful BBQ!!!

Kari, there is a guy who cooks up a mean rack of ribs that is pretty close to you by the antique shop. I think he cooks up Thursday through Saturdays only.
I never know which BBQ is better, because I am a pig and they are all good IMO. I don't know if I have ever had ~bad~ BBQ, unless someone thinks tough chewy overcooked ribs are bad.
But then again, I like tough, chewy, overcooked ribs. I always hunt for that burned "end" so I can gnaw on it for awhile. I know. Go ahead and say it. I am weird.

If you mean that place with the sign that says 'open if we're here' I've been by there every day of the week, and I've never so much as smelled ribs or anything else cooking. Not even back yard bbq.
