Well if we were allowed to play the national championship game in Oklahoma City I think the outcome would have been much different. I'd certainly hope LSU wins the NC each year when it's basically in your own backyard!!!

BTW, I have to say the LSU fans are the most rude, obnoxious, foul mouthed college football fans in the country!!

Oh, to answer your question, Tulsa is far superior to Oklahoma City!! We consider Oklahoma City the worlds largest truck stop!!

Uh oh, I see a flame war on the horizon with the city remarks. Folks, try and keep it civil; this is the Oklahoma forum after all.

I like the way OkC and Tulsa compliment each other. Two cities, roughly a little over one hour apart that are different enough to offer a pretty full plate to those who like to enjoy a little of both.

If I had my druthers, I'd probably live in the country, halfway between both cities. That would be the ultimate; OkC for NBA basketball and over to Tulsa for the Oktoberfest.

LOUISIANA'SLEGEND is on a distinguished road
AWW TULSA U LOSING, COME ON NOW!!! Im gonna chose Tulsa to move to, but man, in this tread OKC is seducing me, I wanna come to Oklahoma because I wanna grow as a person which means: to be more of an artist, to be more open, to make a strong impact on the environment, to per-fect my Louisiana structure. So far, OKC, seems more appealing but Im gonna live in Tulsa no matter what and will defend it once i get to kno it better. OKC is just an hour away but Tulsa need to flex their muscle a little.

Oh yeah, Brainsgi, do u remember that beaten LSU put on Miami in the Peach Bowl 2005 (40-3) Dont matter who it is,Thats just the SEC baby, the conference seems to have all thugs who play football!!!

Actually it won't get nasty here. I think OkCitians and Tulsans enjoy each city being distinctly different, while still maintaining their similarities in being "Okie." Like I said, I prefer Tulsa but love to see OkC rejuvinated. The two cities feed off one another somewhat. Now if you want to see some real city flame wars, just visit the "Houston versus Dallas Smackdown" thread in the Texas forums. Man, those folks really go at it.

Or live in Stillwater and be close and convenient to all the OSU home games as well.

Stillwater's a nice town and I'd live there in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

I have lived in both cities for different reasons and periods in my life. I enjoy Tulsa more than OKC, for me. I think Tulsa is "greener" meaning more parks, trees, ect. OKC is more business-like. OKC always seemed to me to be more parking lots and concrete. I know you can find those things in Tulsa too, just my impressions. I live in Checotah, so it kinda makes a big Triangle. I can go to either one in about the same amount of time and less effort to OKC since it is straight down 40. BUT. I just prefer Tulsa.

I lived in OKC for a year + (as an adult) and I went there EVERY month as a kid for groceries with my parents at Tinker. I was BORN at Tinker.

I lived in Tulsa for 10 years both before and after I got married. In contrast to this my ex husband HATED Tulsa AND Oklahoma. I guess it wouldn't have mattered to him anyway. (Just one of the many reasons he is now my EX-Husband)
