Now whats that all about dude, dont dis my beloved Nawlins. Im from Northern Louisiana anyway, but The reason for this thread was to get some info out of the residence. Im moving there soon and I wanna see what type of people you have here based on your replies. Most of them where mild mannered, and refreshing remarks. I have been to similar threads like this one, and they were so grimely. But the people here were so laid back with their answers and did not want to say anything bad about the other. So in a way it still gave me what I needed regardless of the absent strong competitive nature. I am very enthus about coming there, and will make my first trip in a month to Tulsa, the winner of this thread!!!!

Please tell me you didn't base your decision to move to Tulsa on this thread. Or had you already decided? It's a great move but I sure hope this wasn't the deciding factor.

I doubt very seriously it was this thread. I think LL was leaning toward Tulsa to begin with. While you are in Oklahoma, you should definitely check out both cities LL.

Lol, no way its just my way of checking the pride and attitudes towards there respected cities. Im so, so Tulsa all the way, but I'll go to OKC for certain things, but im moving to Tulsa. Also I met someone on my road trip this weekend that said he just came from there helping with ice stroms. I had some great things to say, I will too, I have a knack for overexposing things and promoting it, Tulsa will be coming out of mouths that never even looked at Oklahoma!! So beware!!!!

I moved away from Tulsa Oklahoma in 1976 and have seen most of the United States of America as a matter of fact 40 of the 50 States , lived 25 + years in California both Northern and Southern Cali and this is the friendly and sometimes not so friendly type of rivaly or competition that exist between SoCal and the San Francisco Bay Area.....
I lived one year in Los Angeles Long Beach and the remaining time in The San Francisco Bay Area , but you know I Like SoCali about 10 times better than the Bay, but what different does that make anyway they are both great places SoCali is just a whole lot Better but not Greater....The Same Can Be Said About Tulsa And O.K.C.
I like Tulsa more than Oklahoma City mainly because of the beauty , i just don't like plain flat cities without any Mountains , Lakes , Valleys ,Etc. Well Tulsa has some fake Mountains...Check Out The View From Turkey Mountains Looking Toward Downtown Tulsa..... And My Family Is In TULSA However I Do Have A Aunt & Uncle & Cousins In O.K.C.
I Have A Joke about the two cities TULSA is only 75 Miles From O.K.C. But O.K.C is 85 Miles From TULSA can you figure that out....?

I'm guessing because of all the hills in Tulsa. It's funny though, OKC could be considered closer. Most of our metro lies at 1100 - 1300 ft while Tulsa is mostly 600-800 ft. Even the hills west of downtown are lower than almost all the OKC metro.
