You would probably have to go to the town of Cheyenne to find someone who remembers, or look in the newspaper archives.

Thank you for your response, Peggy. I got caught up in my life and forgot to come back to see if I had any responses. Some of the people that I knew who were effected by one of the tornadoes were the Pearl Miller family of Meridian. Also, several years ago I talked to Mrs. Clara Davis regarding that tornado that hit near Meridian.

I believe the people killed in this tornado were Chesney M. and Bernice Tidwell. My history teacher (Leldon Harrison) and my mother had both graduated that year from Reydon High School. They had gone on a senior trip and it happened while they were gone.

LR, I didn't realize you could look up the names of people who died in tornadoes. That's very interesting.

Colleen. That page is from a genealogy site and it lists all of the people who died in Rogers Mills county, that are buried in Cheyenne Cemetery ... Those two just happened to have died in the Tornado. Genealogy resources are good for lots of things...
