Anyone ever seen one in OK? I'm in the SW part, and I saw my first two ever yesterday. They looked like crows, but larger and with thicker beaks. The call was also different that a crow. According to Uncle Google, their range in OK is only in the Western tip of the Panhandle.

I think they are expanding everywhere. Here in Utah I never seen any at all except way out in the desert. Now they are becoming a nuisance. They eat up our garden and rob nests of Robins and Doves. I had one get inside my pigeon coop and take a baby out of the next. Our dog chased it down and got my baby back! I'm still shaking my head over that one! I used to work at a park that had tons of chukars . Tourists would come just to see the Chuckar chicks up close. Wildlife officials noticed a sharp decline in chicks and a sharp increase in Ravens.. It didn't take long to notice that Ravens were eating eggs and chicks as soon as they seen them.. In the evenings there will be hundreds of them roosting in the trees in town. Messy Messy noisy birds. I love birds but not these.

Not in OK but in So. MN. I've lived here for the larger part of my life and never seen a raven. Last week we had a pair in our back yard.

Just last week we found two in a big Oak tree outside of parents home in SW OKC. Pretty cool.
