February Events & Festivals in Oklahoma
I thought it might be fun to list the events coming up this month so that no one will forget or miss something. Everyone please list and comment on upcoming events this month around our state.
I would like to go to this:
WINTER TALES STORYTELLING FESTIVAL Feb. 15-17, Stage Center, Oklahoma City. One of the top storytelling festivals in the nation. (405) 270-4848.
I love oysters, YUM!
FREDERICK FANTASTIC OYSTER FRY AND CRAFT SHOW Feb. 16, Frederick. Since 1952, the annual Oyster Fry has been a Southwest Oklahoma tradition. Fried or raw gulf oysters. Craft show and numerous attractions throughout Frederick. (580) 335-2126.

They used to have a section in the paper something like, 10 in town and around, that listed statewide events. I haven't seen that lately.

Then get a 'throw-away' email addy from hotmail or gmail! Nobody says you have to answer the dumb sign up questions with your REAL name. I have a couple I use for online accounts and a couple for family correspondence only. Solves the Spam problem nicely.
Another fun/silly thing I do is spell my name differently on each account, when I start getting spam with that spelling I know exactly who sold my info!
I'll go peek at the Duncan Calender now.
