Yes, all Ricks (bass & guitars) have a unique sound.
I have a reasonably aggressive style (think Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath), and Ricks are
plenty solid, but I always felt like the neck would come off in my hand.
BTW... Geezer used Ricks also.
