Are there any musicians in Oklahoma or soon to be Okies that are wanting to keep in touch in a musical sense?

This is a great idea! I love music -- don't play anything, but sing a little bit. I like to go out to hear local bands. It's always fun.

I've got a Fender Strat, An Ibanez Destroyer(1970's Explorer copy), an Applause acoustic, a Yamaha acoustic, an Epiphone bass, And an old lap steel.

I heard it was illegal to have an old computer in OK.

Hey Boris,
It's good to hear from you. We musicians must stick together. Tulsa has a very lively music scene and Tulsa has it's own history in Rock 'n Roll.

For one, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame is in Tulsa. D-Fest in Tulsa is one of the biggest musical events in the country. HUGE crowds and the event lasts for days and days; it is comparable to Woodstock.

Leon Russell is from Tulsa. Although he was born in Lawton, he is a famous Tulsa musician. There are dozens of others.

Caines Ballroom is one of the most historic venues in the entire country.

This is just a sample of the Tulsa music scene. Tulsa has a very active music scene and is a great place for musicians.

I LOVE the Oakridge Boys. One of their favorites of mine is "I guess it never hurts to hurt sometimes."
