Anytime you need cheering up, you just come here to us. Teenagers have a very difficult time of it, and I'm sure most everybody on this forum who is 30+ will tell you that teen years are NOT the best time of your life! Add to that the problems you've had and it's no wonder you need an occasional boost. You have your head in the right place, Cali girl. Hang in there!

tell you what sucks in addition to that.. putting those teenage years on hold to get married and start a family.. now that's behind me, and it's like turning 18 all over again! (it has ups and downs).

The teen years wouldn't have been as bad
if we knew then, what we know now.

You're doing okay Cali-Okie...
Keep it up!
(And listen to Grandma! She knows best.)

Teen years suck when your going through them or living them out, wishing that you were older.
Once you get older you look back, see what you did wrong and wish you could do it all over again.
I can't say that goes for everyone, but most of us feel that way.

You know sometimes I think about the choices I've made, and wonder what would have happened if I made other choices (ones that I know now would have been better given hindsight). But then I realize I wouldn't be the person I am today, or be where I am today if I had made other choices. And I like myself and where I am today. So who knows?

And you know if we survived the Terrible Teens, so can you. For me the worst part was being too old/too young to do what I wanted, but just right to do whatever I DIDN'T want [like whatever my family said].
