wow so OK does get some earthquakes
also i read a post a few pages back about saying a 2.4 earthquake wouldnt wake me up..well i slept through the 6.4 one! haha but then again i was 2 but still..then around there was another one about and i was doing homework and it shock really hard and i just stood there like WEEEEEEEE!! haha  i think it was a 4. something but in Cali earthquakes arent a big deal.

Synopsis,
Does this mean that Bjb123 and will be safe in the Poteau area  ? The only real earthquake that I ever felt was in Hawaii in "82" when Kilauea blow her top. Talk about the pucker-factor jumping  .

Peggy deleted your posts Cali because they were off-topic. Please don't take any offense at all; you are one of the most valued members of the forum. I have had many of my posts deleted for the very same reason as well. It's not personal at all.

Sorry, that's already happened. Plenty of basalt in Wichita Mts. We even have a Quartz Mountain. 500 million years later and we have little earthquakes.
I used to live in South Carolina and assumed a bomber flew too close to my house, when the place shook. I assume the same, living in SW OK, 20 miles from the Air Force base.

I lived near Norton AFB in Ca. and before it was close I remember those big
C5 cargo planes come in for a landing and they shook the house a shaded in the yard.
