Bet that was entertaining!

I remember the first time I saw 3 A-10's below 100 feet...
I was driving through Franconia Notch, and for a second,
I thought they were radio controlled model planes...
(I was paying attention to the road, not the sky.)

Another time after we first moved up North,
I waved to an A-10 pilot and he was low enough
that I saw him wave back.

The coolest is watching the F-16's simulate dog fights...
One time we got the added bonus of watching them pop flares.
That was cool.

But... Occasionally, the F-16's (out of VT) and the F-15's
(out of MA, which I haven't seen a few years) DO
go supersonic on us.

I a huge air-power fan.
(In case you couldn't tell.)

Will I get to see a lot of air shows in OK?

Naw, you didn't lose me to SL. This forum here is too good to pass up. I just love talking with Okies and wanna be Okies. I used to think that was a derogatory word until I moved here and found that it is used here by all, "Okies" that is.

Merle Haggard is actually my favorite country singer. His music never grows old. I never put two and two together though, so it didn't dawn on my that it was okay to say "Okie." Just that when my mother use the term it was always a put down, "You look like an Okie." And yet her relatives are from here. But then when I moved to Berkeley and came home to visit it changed to, "You look like a hippie." Now I look like an Okie Hippie, but I don't smoke marijuana.
