Anyone can recommend a good website for a newbie to get some bare lands outside of city limits here in OK?
I go to landwatch.com; unfortunately, most of them, I believe, is within city limit. I prefer outside city limits because I plan to bring in my camper for when I go to my property.
Alot of the lands within city limits has a bunch of restrictions / covenants - no camper, trailer homes must be at least 700 sq ft, etc.

Thanks!

I once owned a piece of land in the Crow's Roost area of FT. Cobb Lake, in SW, OK. Judging by the looks of the place, you could pretty well do what you wanted. There were several abandoned trailers and cabins that had been empty for years.
However, there were also a lot of nice, well-maintained places.

Search for a zoning atlas for your city. You can compare the land location your in to that map to see what is allowed or what isn't. Usually it will be with your city gis data.
