Also keep in mind. You won't find beers or wine coolers with more than 3.2 percent alcohol at the grocery and convenience stores. Liquor stores in Oklahoma can sell beer with higher alcohol content, but they have more rules to follow. For one, they have to sell beer at room temperature. And they are only allowed to be open from 10am to 9pm. Mon thru Sat. That means no last minute run to get brandy or whatever for Sunday nite dinner. Also closed on xmas, new years and thanksgiving.
In 2006 Oklahoma was the last state to legalize tattooing.

Oklahoma has some interesting laws. I guess you get used to them after a while they are just different then Maryland. I know in Maryland grocery stores are not allowed to sell alcohol at all. But I don't think the liquor stores have as strict rules.
I really wanted to go to a casino and try my luck so I did a little research online and found a casino called 7 Clans Paradise Casino in Red Rock. Just 25 miles north of Stillwater. And I called them up and it's 18 to gamble! So I'll definitely be going there before I head back to Maryland. Has anyone heard of that casino before?
In honor of Mothers Day I'll be going to church with my mom for the first time in a good few years. I know she wanted that more then any present so I just sucked it up and said I'd go with her. After that we'll probably get some lunch and possibly heading up to the casino to win some money!
Talk to you all soon and wish my luck at the slots!

And what is that law for us non-native Oklahoma people?

So around Stillwater I've been seeing signs like "Go Pokes!". What are pokes?

It's simply short for "Go OSU Cowboys", the sports teams.

The sharp witted might be able to joke around with an answer to that question, but there is no one law I know of.

7 Clans is owned by the Otoe tribe in Red Rock. Its not that big but does well.
By the way you are such sweet and loving son for giving your mom that gift. Good for you!
