Default New City-Data Photography Contest
Everyone, think about entering the March 2008 City-Data Photography Contest. I have volunteered to run this contest, so I won't be entering. The subject is portraits of people, so take a pic of your friend, relative, etc. and enter!

The contest has been a lot of fun for me to enter, and I think LR would agree. Let's have some more Okies, or wanna-be Okies, enter.

I just wish they would NAIL DOWN what they mean by "recent photo". Last time someone snuck an 06 pic in.

I have noticed that most people just don't read the instructions or the rules.

The recent pic is really a suggestion, and makes the contest more fun, I think. Since the date on the photo can be edited, there is really no way to enforce a time limit on the photo age.

Peggy, I'm sorry to see that the contest was announced on March 3rd, when I was out of touch due to the move. I have a great pic I could have submitted. Is there a contest every month?

The contests are held about every 2 months. They are pretty fun.

We are having a great time on our trip. Today we saw a lot of pretty land in Tennessee. We looked around a town called Bristol, TN, then we drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful country. We are in Charlottesville, Virginia tonight. Tomorrow we are going to Monticello, then on to Lexington Park to see the kids.
