Yep. Bob is a pretty versatile guy... he brought us out here from CA loaded up to the roof with people and pets, hauled us up to NE for the son's wedding, AND he doubles as a truck when I need to pick up lumber or hardware for working on the house. With his seats down I can carry 10 foot lengths of lumber, doors, screens you name it. (Did I mention I love my Bob?? ) He also does quite nicely in bad weather, wading through flooded roads and holding traction on icy ones.
And he still hasn't topped the 100,000 mi mark!

When I was living in Denton, TX, from time to time I would see a 70's Chevelle. It was set to ride so high that the rocker panels might have come up to my chest. To get into the car, it would have been helpful to have a stepladder. Hard to forget.
No offense intended to you Chevy guys.

My Taco-Tommy
Here's some better shots of my 2007 Taco , It has a V6, 5speed automatic, tow package with the off road package as well and is petty muck bone stock with exception of a few outside add-ons. And we'll be driven it to Oklahoma next month.

SeabeeBolt: I've calculated (off the top of my head) that it's approximatly 1100 miles from my place in Duncan,Ok. to my brothers place in Ashland, Ohio. From what it sounds like,, you live further north?. OKC is 73 miles North of here and Lawton/Fort Sill is 30 miles NW of here.

Mk,
Yeh, Ashland is about 25 miles southwest of us and I figured around 946 from Wellington, Ohio to Tulsa, Oklahoma thru St Louis Mo. travel time approx. 17.5 hrs at 55mph.

That's about right, because Tulsa is 108 miles NE of here

Ok, Ok, so I drive like an old fart and I like to drive the speed limt when its posted, besides having a class-A CDL the courts hit ya harder than most people and it goes on our DAC reports. The 55mph is the number that all OTR truck drivers use to calculate their travel time from point-A to point-B
